The Washington Crossing family was in need of renovating their formal living space. The challenge here was the lack of natural lighting so we added additional recessed lighting in the space. The sounding board for this living room palette is a gorgeous Anna French wall covering with a soft modern pattern of champagne, gold and silver tones. This room I like to call the mix of metals. We carefully chose fixtures and furnishings to artfully carry the soft palette present in the wall covering across the space in the room. The client loves the Chinoiserie style so we selected beautiful custom barrel chairs with bamboo legs as a statement. Additionally, fabrics were selected to add sophistication with custom pillows to pull the design together and incorporate a little blush tone into the room.
The Washington Crossing powder room represents the client's love of birds and Chinoiserie. In this room, we designed a painted custom vanity to complement the wall covering and carefully repeated this style with the ornate John Richards mirror and Swarovski crystal light fixture.
